Two More Mac OS X Leopard Mail Templates

Thanks for the template, I was looking for a non-cute example of a mail template. What software would I need to make my own template?

Anthonie… all you need is a text editor, like BBEdit, and a program like Adobe Photoshop to edit the graphics.

Can you point me to a photoshop tutorial that would help me create the shapes used above (bent photos with shadows)? I’d like to make my own photo masks that are vertical and positioned differently.

Thanks for your help, as far as the business stationary for leopard goes, pretty lame. Equinox has a package too, but for business, lame.

I’ve been working at this thing for awhile but when I change an existing template as you gave instructions on another blog…i view it in mail but my graphics don’t show up. When I open the html file in my browser, everything is fine??? Do you know why this is or what I can do.

Melvin… sent it back already… I think it has to do with you having changed the file names. I didn’t do that. So, the plist needs to be changed as well then. I did that for you and resent. Let me know if it works.

I tried to download the template that have 2 white stationery and I always get the same template on my mail , besides I can not save it as stationery I can only save it as draft .

is there any site for user created stationery or you can download stationery besides the equinux stationery site.

Greg… I just downloaded them from here and they are exactly what is shown in this blog post. Not sure what you’re seeing.

I got the logo stationery working fine now. Even though I have put the white ones in the same place they show up as the original Doodle if I double click on them and they don’t show up in Choose stationery in Mail at all. How come they’re not white and don’t integrate with mail as the logo one?

I just wont give up on theese …

I must be missing something - I downloaded the templates but can’t figure out how to get them to show up in the stationery list on mail.

And put the stationery items there.

if you want it to show correctly, you have to change the ID of the stationery…

I am having trouble with these downloads and locating where to put them. I’m on the 10.5 version and wondering if the stationary locations are somewhere different..??
Any ideas?

Thanks ! I am new to Leopard, about 1 hour new to it, and I already have a couple of great and easy to install email stationary looks!

After I upgraded to 10.5.1 my mail stationery disappeared. I hoped they’d return with the 10.5.2 upgrade but they didn’t. It would seem I’m not alone. Today I finally found where they’re supposed to be, after I bought a package of templates from equinux.

Here’s the route: User>Library>Application>Support>Mail>Stationery>Apple>Contents>Resources.

Hi my name is Noel Smith, I’m a Tae Bo instructor in the UK and I have just purchased a macbook. I am just discovering the new features on Leopard. I often email my clients and was glad when I saw templates in Mail. However they are very PCish and cannot be used for my business. So I was more than interested when I went onto your website and saw that you have alternative templates. However I have downloaded these templates and cannot import them into mail.
