Prism - Bringing Web Apps To The Desktop
Mozilla Labs Blog | Prism : : “Mozilla Labs is launching a series of experiments to bridge the divide in the user experience between web applications and desktop apps and to explore new usability models as the line between traditional desktop and new web applications continues to blur.”
This is only available for dowload on Windows at this time. The goal is to bring some of the advantages of desktop-based applications to web platforms, without creating proprietary platforms that the apps must run on, like Adobe AIR or Mircrosoft’s Silverlight.
